Consumer Behaviour

I am interested in consumer behaviour and its implications to marketing in general. I was conducting research on consumer behaviour in "non-essential" consumer goods such as health and beauty products. Since consumer behaviour plays a pivotal role in marketing plans and new marketable product development, the ultimate goal would be understanding mindsets of different target markets and devising plans to address their respective needs and wants.

 

Knowledge Managment

Knowledge Management is my primary are of interest as it is still a novel area of research and a fast growing one. Especially regards to developing nations, I found that there are only very few research studies have been carried out though the practices of knowledge management can be used to accelerate the organizational development as a whole.

In my most recent research in the subject area derived conclusion that organizations in developing countries can use cost effective and low-tech methods such as "mentoring" effectively to capture and dissipate organizational knowledge effectively.
